This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting a brief overview of recent southwest climate trends particularly in the southern California region. Impacts of these climate trends are presented and include the following: more or less frequent precipitation events; more or less intense precipitation events; rising average snow elevations and glacier loss
in some areas; sea level rise; runoff variation can affect contaminant concentration; chemistry changes; sediment transport; water demand; agricultural effects; and, infrastructure impacts. Utility engagement: mitigate greenhouse gas contribution;
