                本标准规定了一种测定0.005mm粒径土壤分散度的方法。该方法与AS 1289.3.6.3一起使用。因此，除本试验外，还需要进行AS 1289.3.6中所述的常规比重计精细分析。

This Standard sets out a method for the determination of the percent dispersion of a soil at the 0.005 mm particle dimension. The method is used in conjunction with AS 1289.3.6.3. It is therefore necessary, in addition to this test, to perform a normal hydrometer fine analysis as described in AS 1289.3.6.3.
