该标准对聚酯树脂和其他增强材料组成的电气用途工业用轻质积层板的要求事项进行了规定。应用和特性的区别在表1中给出。适合该标准的材料满足规定水平的性能。但是，如果用户要为某一特定用途选择材料，不仅要依据该标准，还要根据适合该用途的性能所需的实际要求进行选择。

이 표준은 폴리에스테르 수지와 다른 강화재로 구성된 전기적 용도의 산업용 경질 적층판의 요구사항에 대해 규정한다.응용과 특성의 구별은 표 1에 제시되어 있다.이 표준에 적합한 재료는 규정된 수준의 성능을 만족한다. 그러나 어떤 특정한 용도를 위하여 사용자가 재료를 선택하려면, 이 표준에만 근거할 것이 아니라 해당 용도에 적합한 성능에 필요한 실제 요구사항에 따라 선택하여야 한다.
