This paper discusses that it had been determined that there was a need for a smaller industrial boiler that would be capable of firing with any grade of oil, any type of gas and capable of burning coal as well. In consideration of possible fuel shortages, dependence upon foreign countries for oil or gas and rapid escalation of fuel costs, a boiler user should have maximum fuel flexibility.
