该标准规定了选择用于测量涂膜或涂装系统阻隔性的自然耐候性的类型及程序（直接耐候性或窗玻璃后耐候性）时应考虑的条件。自然耐候性是对太阳辐射及大气的涂膜或涂装系统（以下简称涂膜）。用于测量的电阻性。特别大气的影响，如工业污染，在此标准中不予考虑。

이 표준은 도막 또는 도장 시스템의 저항성을 측정하는 데 사용될 자연 내후성의 유형 및 절차(직접내후성 또는 창유리 뒤에서 내후성)를 선택할 때 고려해야 하는 조건에 대하여 규정한다.자연 내후성은 태양 복사 및 대기에 대한 도막 또는 도장 시스템(이하 도막이라 한다.)의 저항성을측정하는 데 사용한다.산업 오염과 같은 특별한 대기의 영향은 이 표준에서 고려하지 않는다.
