ISO 6149-2:2006规定了公制可调和不可调重型（S系列）螺柱端部和O形圈的尺寸、性能要求和试验程序。
符合ISO 6149-2:2006的螺柱端可在工作压力高达63 MPa（630巴）的情况下用于非可调螺柱端，在工作压力高达40 MPa（400巴）的情况下用于可调螺柱端。允许工作压力取决于螺柱端部尺寸、材料、设计、工作条件、应用等。

ISO 6149-2:2006 specifies dimensions, performance requirements and test procedures for metric adjustable and non-adjustable heavy-duty (S series) stud ends and O-rings.
Stud ends in accordance with ISO 6149-2:2006 may be used at working pressures up to 63 MPa (630 bar) for non-adjustable stud ends and 40 MPa (400 bar) for adjustable stud ends. The permissible working pressure depends upon the stud end size, materials, design, working conditions, application, etc.
