It applies to the detection of earthfill density and moisture content in water conservancy projects such as dikes, earth-rock dams, and foundation treatments by means of complex impedance-based non-nuclear density meters (the detectable soil types include fine-grained soils and gravel-containing fine-grained soils with a gravel content not exceeding 25% and a maximum particle size not exceeding 15 mm).
