本标准规定了消防员隔热防护服的术语和定义、型号与规格、设计要求、性能要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。本标准适用于消防员在靠近火焰或强热辐射区域进行灭火救援时穿着的隔热防护服。本标准不适用于消防员在灭火救援时进入火焰区或与火焰有接触时，以及处置危险化学物品作业时穿着的防护服
