The objectives of this project are to develop:1) Practical sequences for a single duct VAV system DCV, articulated in English and represented in logic flow diagrams;2) Simulation studies to evaluate energy and ventilation performance, including the impact of sensor error;3) Functional performance test scripts to allow for field or factory commissioning of DCV sequences;4) Thorough field tests of the sequences to ensure stability under a wide variety of operating conditions; and5) Greatly simplified design procedure for HVAC engineers, which will result in a significant reduction in engineering effort and eliminate the errors commonly found in applying Standard 62.1's Multiple Spaces Equation.
