本文件介绍卫星频道（LAPSat）的链路访问程序（LAP）。LAPSat是在GMR-1网络中接入终端（MES）和网关站（GS）之间进行信令传输的协议。为LAPSat定义的大多数程序都严格遵循为移动D频道LAPs定义的程序 （LAPDm）由全球移动通信系统（GSM）使用。本文件中引用了相应的GSM技术规范（参见GSM 04.06[9]）。这里只描述了移动D（Dm）和卫星（Sat）信道的LAPs之间的显著差异。本文件基于GSM 04.06[9]。

The present document introduces the Link Access Procedures (LAP) for the Satellite Channel (LAPSat). LAPSat is the protocol for signalling transfer between an Access Terminal (MES) and a Gateway Station (GS) in the GeoMobile (GMR-1) network.Most of the procedures defined for LAPSat closely follow those defined for the LAPs for the Mobile D Channel (LAPDm) used by Global System for Mobile (GSM). References are made throughout the present document to the corresponding GSM technical specifications (see GSM 04.06 [9]). Only the significant differences between the LAPs for the Mobile D (Dm) and Satellite (Sat) channels are described here.The present document is based on GSM 04.06 [9].
