Preface:This is the third edition of CSA C22.2 No. 60335-2-47,Household and similar electrical appliances — Safety — Part 2-47: Particular requirements for commercial electric boiling pans, which is an adoption, with Canadian deviations, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 60335-2-47 (edition 4:2002 consolidated with Amendment 1:2008 and Amendment 2:2017). It supersedes the previous edition published in 2001 as CAN/CSA-E60335-2-47 (adopted IEC 60335-2-47:2000). It also replaces the requirements for commercial electric boiling pans found in CSA C22.2 No. 109-17,Commercial cooking appliances. It is one in a series of Standards issued by CSA Group under Part II of theCanadian Electrical Code.
