本文件规定了中性盐雾（NSS) 、乙酸盐雾（AASS) 和铜加速乙酸盐雾 （CASS)试验使用的设备、试剂和方法。本文件也规定了评估试验箱环境腐蚀性的方法。
本文件适用于评价金属材料及覆盖层的耐蚀性，被测试对象可以是具有永久性或暂时性防蚀性能的，也可以是不具有永久性或暂时性防蚀性能的。
