Logistics Management Information (LMI) comprises the support and support-related logistics data acquired from contractors generated because of the product support analysis conducted during the design, development, and initial fielding of a system or end item that the requiring authority needs to develop their internal materiel management processes. The LMI database is an all-inclusive database that provides the content necessary to support multiple data products in one single delivery. This includes data for maintenance planning, indentured and repair bill of materials (BOM), logistics design requirements, reliability and maintainability, system safety, maintenance engineering, support and test equipment, training and training devices, manpower and skills, facilities, transportation, supply support, parts packaging, initial provisioning, provisioning parts list (PPL), support equipment recommendation documents (SERDs), cost, cataloging, item management and in-service feedback.
