This manual is intended as a source of comprehensive information for use as a "tool" for the natural gas operators necessary to understand properties of gas and to assess, monitor, and manage gas quality that could impact pipeline operations and end-use applications. An understanding of fundamental gas quality management parameters is necessary to manage existing gas supplies and also to ensure that gas received from new and changing sources of supplies can be safely accepted in the transmission and distribution systems and are interchangeable with historical supplies for all applications.
