                该标准是根据形式批准制造的汽缸阀的制造试验和检验（也称初期检验和试验）。规定的程序及允许标准。该标准适用于根据KS B ISO 10297设计和型式试验的下列阀门。a）在再充电用运输用气瓶上连接的汽缸阀b）汽缸束用带有主阀（球阀除外）c）一体式压力调整器的汽缸阀或主阀（VIPR）非高模糊时，汽缸阀、主阀及VIPR在该标准中用“阀门”的通用术语表达。试验和检验的原理可以在KS B ISO 10297以外的国家标准或国际标准中有用地适用于汽缸阀的型式试验。

이 표준은 형식 승인에 따라서 제조되는 실린더 밸브의 제조 시험 및 검사(초기 검사 및 시험이라고도 한다.)를 위한 절차 및 허용 기준에 대하여 규정한다.이 표준은 KS B ISO 10297에 따라서 설계하고 형식 시험하는 다음의 밸브에 대해 적용 가능하다.a) 재충전용 운반용 가스 실린더에 체결하는 실린더 밸브b) 실린더 번들용 메인 밸브(볼 밸브는 제외)c) 일체형 압력 조정기를 갖춘 실린더 밸브 또는 메인 밸브(VIPR)비고 모호하지 않은 경우, 실린더 밸브, 메인 밸브 및 VIPR은 이 표준에서 ‘밸브’라는 공통 용어로 표현한다.시험 및 검사의 원리는 KS B ISO 10297 이외의 국가 표준 또는 국제표준에서 실린더 밸브의 형식 시험에 유용하게 적용할 수 있다.
