小型计算机系统接口（SCSI）协议旨在提供高效的对等I/O总线，最大主机和外围设备数量由总线宽度（8或16）决定。 本国际标准定义了一个参考模型，用于指定所有SCSI I/O系统实现的通用行为和抽象结构。
The Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) protocol is designed to provide an efficient peer-to-peer I/O bus with the maximum number of hosts and peripherals determined by the bus width (8 or 16). This International Standard defines a reference model that specifies the behaviour and abstract structure generic to all SCSI I/O system implementations.
