Describes a brushless permanent magnet motor developed with low cost manufacturing assembly features, high efficiency fan blades and versatility for both condenser and evaporator applications. The compact motor design includes high efficiency, low cost electronics in a small, streamlined plastic motor housing. Maintains that in residential refrigeration, replacing the condenser and evaporator motors currently used with the new motor can reduce input power by 9% and reduce input current by 20%.
