This part of IEC 60068 demonstrates the adequacy of specimens to resist dynamic loads without unacceptable degradation of its functional and/or structural integrity when subjected to the specified random vibration test requirements.
Broadband random vibration may be used to identify accumulated stress effects and the resulting mechanical weakness and degradation in the specified performance. This information, in conjunction with the relevant specification, may be used to assess the acceptability of specimens.Cross References:IEC 60068-3-8:2003EN 60068-3-8:2003RTCA DO160D:1997EN 60068-2-6:2008MILSTD810F:2000IEC 17025:2005EN 60068-2-47:2005IEC 60068-5-2IEC 60068-2-47:2005ETSI EN 300019-2-7EN 60721-3ETSI EN 300019-2-3IEC 60068-1IEC 60721-3ENV 13005:1999EN 60068-1:1994EN 60068-5-2:1999IEC 60068-2-6IEC 60050-300ISO 2041IEC Guide 104IEC 61373:1999DIN 45667:1969 (Eng Trans)EN 61373:1999IEC 17025:2005Incorporates the following:Amendment, December 2019
