1.1 This specification covers bare round copper-clad aluminum wire for electrical applications. 1.2 Four classes of copper-clad aluminum wire are covered as follows: Class 10A—Nominal 10 volume % copper, annealed, Class 15A—Nominal 15 volume % copper, annealed, Class 10H—Nominal 10 volume % copper, hard-drawn, Class 15H—Nominal 15 volume % copper, hard-drawn. 1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard.
