ASHRAE Standard 105 provides methods for determining and reporting the energy performance of buildings in order to compare design and operation strategies in new and existing buildings, develop new building energy performance standards, and report greenhouse gas emissions associated with building operation.The revised 2021 edition of Standard 105 is written in code-intended language to facilitate its reference or adoption by enforcement authorities.Standard 105 is accompanied by downloadable supplemental files that include the forms shown in Normative Appendices A, B, C, D, E, and F.
