BEGINNING MAY 15, 1993, AS MANDATED BY THE U.S. CLEAN AIR ACT AND THE MONTREAL PROTOCOL, ALL MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS WITH CLASS I OR II OZONE-DEPLETING SUBSTANCES (ODSS) MUST CARRY A CONSPICUOUS WARNING LABEL AND WILL EVENTUALLY BE PHASED OUT. AEROBIC ACRYLIC ADHESIVES ARE 100% SOLIDS AND HAVE NEVER CAUSED THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH SOLVENT-BASED SYSTEMS. CURE METHODS, INCLUDING ULTRAFAST UV LIGHT, GIVE USERS A GREATER FLEXIBILITY. RECENT ADVANCES IN CHEMISTRY HAVE RESULTED IN ELIMINATION OF SOLVENT IN BONDING ACTIVATORS WHERE UV CURING WAS IMPRACTICAL OR IMPOSSIBLE. THE AEROBIC ACRYLIC SYSTEM HAS NOW BECOME 100% ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY.
