Take 2 at MPU: What a Difference 7 Years Made in the Design of Two Large-Scale Membrane Plants at Manitowoc Public Utilities
以MPU为例:7年来 马尼托沃克公共事业公司两座大型膜厂的设计发生了多么大的变化
This slide presentation outlines a case study at the Manitowoc (Wisconsin) Public Utilities (MPU) concerning the design of two large-scale membrane treatment plants. The presentation outline includes: Background and History;
Existing Membrane Facility at MPU;
New Membrane Facility; and,
Improvements Over Past Facilities. Conclusions indicate that:
new 25 mgd submerged MF plant in Manitowoc will
provide existing and projected water needs for newly
formed Central Brown County Water Authority;
existing microfiltration (MF) facility state-of-the-art in 1999, breaking
new ground in terms of cost and schedule;
rapid changes in industry over last 7 years have
allowed for drastic improvements in cost, space
requirements, and operability at new facility; and,
as the industry continues to develop it provides new
opportunities for utilities considering the use of
membrane technologies.
