The purpose of this study was to provide Greater Vancouver Regional District Water Conservation Program staff with the information and experience needed to determine the most appropriate approach for encouraging water demand reduction in the hotel industry. Provided in this paper is an overview of the study methodology, description of the participants and a summary of water use and conservation potential in the greater Vancouver accommodations industry.
