ISO 514:2014规定了带硬质合金刀片的车刀的类型和尺寸；它只处理内部工具。所用的柄部和刀片分别选自ISO 241和ISO 242中定义的那些。

ISO 514:2014 specifies the types and dimensions of turning tools with carbide tips; it deals only with internal tools. The shank sections and the inserts used are selected respectively from those defined in ISO 241 and ISO 242.
