Some 200 Ml of water are reused in Los Angeles and Orange Counties each day for a variety of uses. Spurred by a statewide drought, area water and wastewater utilities conducted the Orange and Los Angeles Counties Water Reuse Study, which revealed that long-term reuse potential for the region is 1150 Ml/d.
