该标准适用于食品和动物饲料微生物试验的最初悬浮液和10倍稀释液的好气条件状态准备的一般原则。该标准可适用于除全文所述产品外的一般情况。一些方面与PCR阶段的抑制有关,结果也可能适用于可能影响试验结果的分子生物学方法。该标准没有涉及计数和检测试验方法所需样品的准备。有关样品准备的指南在相关国际标准中具体明示。
이 표준은 식품 및 동물사료의 미생물 시험을 위한 최초 현탁액 및 10배 희석액의 호기적 조건 상태의 준비에 대한 일반원칙에 대하여 적용한다. 이 표준은 전문에 언급된 제품을 제외한 일반적인 경우에 적용할 수 있다. 일부 측면은 PCR 단계의 억제와 관계가 있으며, 결과적으로 시험 결과에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 분자생물학적 방법에도 적용될 수 있다. 이 표준에서는 계수 및 검출 시험 방법에 필요한 시료의 준비에 대해서는 다루지 않았다. 시료의 준비에 관한 지침은 관련 국제표준에서 구체적으로 명시하였다.
