This presentation is on computer systems integration for scientific/engineering support at the Las Vegas Valley Water District. Following a brief overview of the District, size, and responsibilities, is a description of the District's different computer systems and the applications that reside on them and how they are integrated to build information systems in meeting its scientific and engineering requirements. Two examples of how computers and integration allowing for database mixing, application mixing for reporting and doing analytical work, information dispersement, peripheral sharing, and system support are given.
