本国际标准规定了自行车链条的尺寸和机械性能，以及试验方法
测定这些机械性能（即扭转、横向偏差、刚性连杆和侧撑弓）的方法。
注:ISO 606规定了自行车链条链轮的尺寸。

This International Standard specifies the dimensions and mechanical properties of cycle chains, as well as test
methods for determining these mechanical properties (i.e. twist, lateral deviation, stiff link and side bow).
NOTE The dimensions of sprockets for cycle chains are specified in ISO 606.
