This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting the project objective that includes the following: to develop an Integrated Water Resources Plan (IWRP) that identifies a mix of water resources that could reliably meet water supply needs of selected growth scenarios. The scope of the IWRP is presented and includes the following topics: profile of Western Placer County in California; regional analysis; existing conditions, general plans, specific plans, and other proposals; Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG); surface water, groundwater, recycled water; and, short-term and long-term droughts.
