Preface:This is the first edition of CSA C22.2 No. 250.2,Lighting systems, one of a series of Standards issued by CSA Group under Part II of theCanadian Electrical Code.This Standard contains specific requirements for lighting systems and is intended to be used together with the requirements for luminaires contained in CSA C22.2 No. 250.0.This Standard is considered suitable for use for conformity assessment within the stated scope of the Standard.This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group.Scope:1.1This Standard applies to lighting systems equipment that performs a sensing and/or signaling function, to convey data through wired or wireless means to, or from, other components of a field installed lighting system.
