THE MACHINED-LAMINATE METHOD IS A WAY OF FABRICATING AUTOCLAVE MOLDS WITH TOOLING SURFACES MADE OF FIBER-REINFORCED PLASTICS. UNLIKE THE CONVENTIONAL METHOD, THE MACHINED- LAMINATE METHOD REQUIRES NO PATTERNS OR TRANSFER TOOLS; ONLY ONE TOOL IS BUILT. TO DETERMINE THE VIABILITY OF THE METHOD, A TEST TOOL PROGRAM WAS CONDUCTED.
