The purpose of this circular is to apprise States of the emerging ICAO perspective on the integration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into non-segregated airspace and at aerodromes and consider the fundamental differences from manned aviation that such integration will involve. Legal considerations, aircraft certification, operations, communications, aerodromes and personnel licensing are all discussed, among other topics.
