该标准规定了利用反相高性能液相色谱联用的UV或DAD检测器（HPLC-UV或HPLC-DAD），在主流烟中诱导生成2,4-二硝基苯肼的选择性碳二苯（甲醛、乙醛、丙酮、丙烯醛、丙醛、巴豆醛、丁酮、n-丁酸醛）的测定方法。

이 표준은 역상 고성능 액체 크로마토그래프가 연결된 UV 또는 DAD 검출기(HPLC-UV 또는 HPLC-DAD)를 이용하여 주류연 중 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazones으로 유도화 된 선택적 카보닐(formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone, acrolein, propionaldehyde, crotonaldehyde, 2-butanone, n-butyraldehyde)의 측정 방법에 대해 규정한다.
