Turbulence pickling and computer modeling achieve finer tolerances and greater operating flexibility of carbon and stainless pickling lines. Basic theory of strip/sheet pickling is examined, as well as benefits of turbulence pickling. Finally, computer modeling of pickling as well as process line operation is examined and discussed.
