交叉引用:EN 1081EN 1149-1EN 1149-2EN 1149-3EN 1149-5CEN/TR 15321:2006EN 16350EN 60079-10-1EN 60079-10-1EN 60079-10-2IEC 60079-10-2CLC/TR 60079-32-1:2015IEC/TS 60079-32-1:2013EN 60079-32-2:2015IEC 60079-32-2:2015EN 61340-4-1IEC 61340-4-1IEC 61340-4-3TR 61340-4-3EN 61340-4-ISO 11611364-ISO 1161884 ISO 116ISO ISO ISO ISO 1161884 ISO 116EN ISO 18644904 ISO ISO 116190420345ISO 20345EN ISO 20346ISO 20346EN ISO 20347ISO 20347ISO 7000ISO 1096584/47/EEC89/686/EEC2014/34/EU94/9/EC1999/92/ECASTM E582ASTM E2019CEN/TR 14560EN ISO 11612ISO 11612EN 13463-

BS PD CEN/CLC/TR 16832:2015 sets out guidance for the selection, use, care and maintenance of clothing and related items of personal protective equipment designed to prevent hazards caused by static electricity in hazardous areas.Static electricity should not be confused with mains supply electricity, or other forms of electric current; the requirements for protection against static electricity are different to the requirements for protection against hazards associated with electric current. Protection against electrostatic risks should not be confused with protection against electric arc; the former is concerned with electrical properties and the latter is concerned with heat, flame and projectile protection.Directive 89/686/EEC requires that PPE intended for use in explosive atmospheres must be so designed and manufactured that it cannot be the source of an electric, electrostatic or impact-induced arc or spark likely to cause an explosive mixture to ignite. Whereas this Technical Report addresses electrostatic ignition risks, it does not address other possible sources of ignition. Nevertheless, other possible sources of ignition are required to be considered when certifying PPE to the requirements of Directive 89/686/EEC.NOTE EN 13463?1 gives guidance on assessing possible ignition sources in non-electrical equipment that may be used for some items of PPE.Cross References:EN 1081EN 1149-1EN 1149-2EN 1149-3EN 1149-5CEN/TR 15321:2006EN 16350EN 60079-10-1IEC 60079-10-1EN 60079-10-2IEC 60079-10-2CLC/TR 60079-32-1:2015IEC/TS 60079-32-1:2013EN 60079-32-2:2015IEC 60079-32-2:2015EN 61340-4-1IEC 61340-4-1EN 61340-4-3IEC 61340-4-3EN 61340-4-5IEC 61340-4-5EN ISO 11611ISO 11611EN ISO 13688ISO 13688CEN ISO/TR 18690ISO/TR 18690EN ISO 20344ISO 20344EN ISO 20345ISO 20345EN ISO 20346ISO 20346EN ISO 20347ISO 20347ISO 7000ISO 1096584/47/EEC89/686/EEC2014/34/EU94/9/EC1999/92/ECASTM E582ASTM E2019CEN/TR 14560EN ISO 11612ISO 11612EN 13463-1EN 13821EN 50286EN 60895IEC 60895EN 60984IEC 60984IEC 61482-2IEC 61241-2-3ISO/TR 15916IEC 60079-0EN 1149-2IEC 60050Incorporates the following:Corrigendum, March 2017
