Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) are receiving increasing attention as potential best available treatment technologies for removing synthetic organic chemicals and volatile organic chemicals from groundwater supplies. AOPs currently being evaluated include: ozone, high pH; ozone, hydrogen peroxide; ozone, ultraviolet; ultraviolet, hydrogen peroxide.
