Pasteurization and ultraviolet (UV) disinfection with titanium dioxide (TiO2) were pilot tested as
disinfection processes for the Taylor Creek Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) wells near
Lake Okeechobee, Florida. Both technologies provided greater than 4-log disinfection of coliform
bacteria even under challenging water quality conditions (very low UVT and high TSS). Includes tables, figures.
