In 2005, Seacoast Utility Authority (SUA), located in Palm Beach County, Florida, evaluated options for expanding their two existing water treatment plants to meet future demands, and for converting their plants from lime softening facilities to membrane softening facilities. SUA commissioned a preliminary design evaluation to study various options for expanding their existing water treatment plants to meet future demands and for converting the plants from lime softening facilities to membrane softening facilities.
