1.1 This practice covers the evaluation of atmospheric galvanic corrosion of any materials that can be made into washers. 1.2 The washer, or disk, test was used by H. O. teeple in 1949 for a series of exposures for ASTM Committee B03.08 on Corrosion of Non-Ferrous Metals and Alloys.
