该规格是针对常压储罐中储存的具有100kPa以下RAID蒸气压的石油和石油产品的灌装型和非灌装型自动液位计（ALG）的准确度、安装、操作、校准和验证的指南。本指南不适用于在冷却储罐中使用ALG进行液位测量。

이 규격은 상압 보관 탱크에 저장된 100 kPa 이하의 레이드 증기압을 가진 석유와 석유 제품을 위한 관입 형과 비관입형 자동 액위계(ALG)의 정확도, 설치, 작 동, 보정, 검증에 대한 지침이다. 이 지침은 냉각 보 관 탱크에서 ALG를 이용한 액위 측정에는 적용되지 않는다.
