This slide presentation outlines an asset management solution to support
a treatment plant upgrade at the Goleta Water District (GWD) in California, and business processes development to support the City of Fort Worth, Texas. Project goals for the treatment plant upgrade at GWD included: manage $22M
treatment plant
upgrade project including
design drawings, specifications, manuals,
project communication and coordination, and
transition as-built data to O&M functions; Implement a WMMS to
manage GIS-related asset data and
capture and view asset data for work orders; and,
migrate GIS to
ESRI platform
and provide Web
portal. The business process development for the City of Fort Worth included: workshops with 150 staff over an
18-month period (collaborative
approach);
documenting 55 end-to-end
business processes including
capital project management system,
maintenance management system,
customer relationship management, and
Geographic Information System; and, new systems were configured and
integrated to support the adopted
