Low Pressure UV Inactivation of Cryptosporidium parvum and Giardia lamblia Based on Infectivity Assays and DNA Repair of UV-Irradiated Cryptosporidium parvum Oocysts
基于紫外辐照微小隐孢子虫卵囊感染性检测和DNA修复的低压紫外灭活微小隐孢子虫和蓝氏贾第虫
This study determined the kinetics and extent of inactivation of Cryptosporidiumparvum oocyst infectivity for MDCK cell cultures and Giardia lamblia cyst infectivity for Mongolian gerbils by various doses of monochromatic, low-pressure ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The potential for and magnitude of DNA repair in UV-irradiated C. parvum oocysts was also studied. Includes 18 references, table, figure.
