本标准确立了包含电源（代理）的设备与管理人员（如手机、个人电脑、个人健康设备、机顶盒）之间通信的规范性定义，以实现即插即用互操作性。使用其他ISO/IEEE 11073标准中定义的现有术语、信息配置文件、应用配置文件标准和传输标准，本标准定义了包含电池的个人健康设备通信功能的共同核心，包括:1）当前设备电源状态（永久、电池）；2） 充电状态（%）；3） 预计剩余时间（小时，如果提供）。

This standard establishes a normative definition of communication between devices containing a power source (agents) and managers (e.g. cell phones, personal computers, personal health appliances, set top boxes) in a manner that enables plug-and-play interoperability. Using existing terminology, information profiles, application profile standards, and transport standards as defined in other ISO/IEEE 11073 standards, this standard defines a common core of communication functionality of personal health devices containing a battery, including: 1) Current device power status (eternal, battery); 2) Power charge status (%); 3) Estimated time remaining (hours, if provided).
