This Interim European Telecommunication Standard (I-ETS) specifies the requirements of single-mode optical fibre cables to be used as underw ater cables. Types of cables included in this I-ETS are underwater cables for lak es, river crossings etc. and are for cable systems without power feedi ng requirements. This specification does not cover repair capability.
