1.1 The purpose of this guide is to address the basic fundamental subject knowledge, task performance, and task knowledge activities and functions for avionics professionals to be titled Aircraft Electronics Technicians (AETs). 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
