In order to properly design or select controls for a heat exchanger, it isimportant that the response characteristics of the heat exchanger itself beknown. Therefore, the objective of this research is to obtain, and experimentallyverify, simplified expressions which will allow a designer to accuratelydetermine the dynamic properties of heat exchangers.
