States that air conditioning systems with ice storage have a greater potential for dehumidifying the air than conventional chilled-water systems. At a given temperature, reduced humidity results in occupants feeling cooler, drier and fresher, the air is perceived to be fresher, less stale and more acceptable. States these conclusions were derived from the subjective responses of 20 subjects studied at three temperatures, three humidities and three activities.
