Because of its high saturation induction relative to ferrites or permalloys, significant size reductions are possible in high-frequency devices by utilizing this alloy. Unlike ferrites, it is suitable for use over a wide operating temperature range without cracking or showing large drops in usable flux density. Its uses include numerous high-frequency devices.
