该标准规定了在火灾条件下测试单个小型垂直绝缘导体或电缆或光纤电缆对垂直火花的耐性的试验程序。试验装置收录在KS C IEC 60332-2-1中。该标准规定，当部分小型光纤电缆损坏或小型导体在火花作用期间熔化，KS C IEC 60332－1-2规定的方式不充分时，测试小型光纤电缆或小型绝缘导体或电缆的程序。建议的适用范围是截面小于0.5mm2的小型单绝缘导体或电缆的试验。建议性能要求条件见附件A。

이 표준은 화재 조건에서 단일 소형 수직 절연 도체 또는 케이블이나 광섬유 케이블의 수직 불꽃에 대한 내성을 시험하기 위한 시험 절차를 규정한다. 시험 장치는 KS C IEC 60332－2-1에 수록되어 있다. 이 표준은 일부 소형 광섬유 케이블이 파손되거나 소형 도체가 불꽃이 적용되는 동안 녹을 수도 있 기 때문에 KS C IEC 60332－1-2에 규정된 방식이 충분하지 않을 때 소형 광섬유 케이블 또는 소형 절연 도체 또는 케이블을 시험하기 위한 절차를 수록한다. 권장되는 적용범위는 단면적이 0.5 mm2 이하인 소형 단일 절연 도체 또는 케이블의 시험이다. 권장 성능 요구조건은 부속서 A를 참조한다.
