Presents the findings of the second research phase of CII Research Team 243 on innovation in the EPC industry. Discusses case studies of EPC organizations that have used the Innovation Maturity Model (IMM) (IR243-2) to increase innovation. Illustrates the industry's opportunity to improve innovation performance by 1) shifting its focus from a single-project focus to a project-portfolio perspective, 2) establishing repeatable processes for implementing innovation, and 3) dedicating resources to innovation.
